Mandarin Lessons

The Senior Syndicate have been lucky enough to have Jim come into our classes to teach us how to speak and write in Mandarin. We have so far learned how to say hello, count up to 99 and our birth dates. We can't wait for Lesson 3 next Monday!

Breakout

Today Room 5 had the challenge of using clues hidden around our classroom to help us to prevent a jewel heist. Everyone had to work together to solve puzzles and open locks. We even earned 2,000 Hills Bills each for using our problem-solving skills to 'Breakout'!

Y6 Campers

Hi everyone - our Year 6 pupils left for camp this morning with big smiles on their faces. We are sure they will have the most AMAZING time! This week Mrs Dowden is lucky to have her own year 5 pupils, plus those from Room 6 and half of the Room 7 Year 5's. We are looking at Surf Safety this week, in preparation for our trip to Piha on Thursday.
